Chiefs star Isiah Pacheco goes viral for bizarre workout routine after Travis Kelce ripped his running style

Isiah Pacheco reveals how he drills his bizarre running style with a viral video on X.

On Tuesday, a video of the Kansas City Chiefs running back’s training regimen was posted, bringing attention to his running form again.

In the clip, Pacheco takes rapid and powerful steps with each foot, planting and pausing after each one. His step motion and posture are similar to those of a basketball player dribbling between his legs.

While the drill essentially portrays his slowed-down running motion, Pacheco eventually sprints past the camera, cuts right, and catches the ball.

In January 2024, Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, praised Pacheco on their New Heights podcast before making fun of how the speedster runs.

Following the Chiefs’ 25-17 New Year’s Eve win over the Bengals, the Kelces hopped on X, formerly Twitter, to read the top posts regarding Pacheco’s unusual stride.

‘Everybody noticed how mad Pacheco runs,’ Jason pointed out.

‘Angry runs, baby,’ Travis responded about his Chiefs teammate.

‘Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis tweeted: ‘Pacheco runs like he bite people,” Jason read. ‘I feel like if Mike Tyson was a running back, he would run like Isiah Pacheco.’

The tweets got a laugh out of Travis as they continued to read through.

‘Pacheco runs like a little kid testing out new shoes in a store,’ Jason continued. ‘I can see that. Trynna see what the grip feels like, you’re really stomping them in.’

The Kelces also compared Pacheco to Taz from Looney Tunes and Sonic the Hedgehog.

After tallying 935 yards and seven touchdowns for the Chiefs in 2023, Pacheco was limited by injury this past season as their тĪ¹Ń‚le reign ended.

The Rutgers product played in seven games and had 83 carries for 310 yards and a touchdown.
