Deshaun Watson proposed to longtime girlfriend Jilly Anais with a custom diamond ring with more than 20 carats and worth up to $2.5 million, jeweler Vikar Ahmed told TMZ Sports.
The Browns quarterback — who signed a fully guaranteed five-year, $230 million contract with Cleveland in 2022 — worked with Ahmed for seven months to design the diamond, which is called “The Glory Treasure.”
Watson and Anais, who is a singer, influencer and a cookbook author, announced their engagement Sunday in a joint post on Instagram.
Anais’ ring features 18k white gold and it is a Type IIA by GIA, which is recognized as the purest chemical diamond in the world, according to Ahmed — adding that it includes color D-E-F & clarity IF to VVS.
“At the heart of this exquisite piece lies a premium D center diamond, renowned for its perfect cut and exceptional color & flawless clarity,” said Ahmed, who crafted the Anais’ ring in Idar-Oberstein, Germany.

It’s unclear where exactly Watson proposed.
The couple’s families were present, as seen in their engagement pH๏τos, which also featured a beach.
“Mrs. Watson Loading…” Anais wrote.
Watson commemorated their fifth anniversary with a giant back tattoo of Anais’ face last July.
Anais stayed with Watson and they remained united after allegations of Sєxual misconduct by roughly two dozen mᴀssage therapists against the quarterback were first made public in March 2021.
Two Texas grand juries declined to indict Watson on criminal charges in March 2022, and he has settled most of the civil lawsuits filed against him.
Watson, who has maintained his innocence, served an 11-game suspension at the start of his Browns’ tenure in the 2022 season and was fined $5 million.
He missed the entire 2021 season with the Texans due to the allegations.
Last September, another Sєxual ᴀssault lawsuit was filed against Watson and he denied the allegations.
Watson is recovering from re-rupturing his Achilles in January, leaving his 2025 campaign up in the air.
He suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 7 of the 2024 season.
Watson has thrown for 3,365 yards, 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions across three seasons and 19 starts with the Browns.
The Browns acquired Kenny Pickett in a trade with the Eagles last week and also hosted free agent Russell Wilson.
Watson signed with Cleveland after he requested a trade out of Houston in January 2021.
