The Cleveland Browns have released renderings of a new version of Huntington Bank Field through social media, showing off the futuristic stadium that will cost an approximate $2.4billion.
The new stadium is an indoor venue, in contrast to the current version, which has been home to the Browns since 1999, when the expansion Browns entered the NFL.
Instead of in downtown Cleveland where the current stadium resides, adjacent to Rocket Arena and Progressive Field, home of the city’s Cavaliers and Guardians, the proposed site for the new venue is in the suburb of Brook Park.
Brook Park is more than 16 miles southwest of the current stadium, and would fall in line with the current trend of stadium’s being built outside of big city’s most-populated areas, in line with the 49ers and Rams.
Not only is a new stadium built to the nines with a glitzy interior, but the area around it is built up with shops, restaurants, and plenty of grᴀssy patches to sit.
The release of the renderings comes a month before the NFL Draft, where the Browns will choose No 2 overall.

The second overall pick is viewed as a changing of the guard for the Browns, akin to when they drafted Baker Mayfield in 2018.
Cleveland will draft a generational talent or a new starting quarterback, as the team has returned to its doldrums after a spirited run to the playoffs in 2023.
The renderings appear to feature several parking garages around the stadium that light up for night games, in addition to the parking lots directly surrounding the stadium.
The 176-acre project has yet to break ground, but is scheduled to be opened for the 2029 NFL season.
What would happen to the Browns’ current stadium after the Brook Park structure is completed is unclear, with implosion a possibility.
