Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence beef over ‘clown s–t’ after lineman’s Cowboys exit

It’s a good thing Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence aren’t teammates anymore because it doesn’t seem like there’s much love lost between them.

The two spent Thursday night trading insults after Parsons took offense to a comment made by Lawrence during an interview earlier in the day.

Earlier this week, Lawrence signed with the Seahawks after spending his first 11 seasons in the NFL with the Cowboys.

He then threw some shade at his old team in his interview with Hawk Blogger.

“Dallas is my home. Made my home there,” Lawrence said. “My family lives there. I’m forever gonna be there. I know for sure I’m not gonna win a Super Bowl there. So, yeah, we here.”

That did not sit well with Parsons, who made his feelings known after he caught wind of the clip on social media.

He blasted Lawrence in a post on X.

“This what rejection and envy look like! This some clown s–t!” Parsons fired back along with a clown emoji.

The war of words continued when Lawrence later responded, throwing shade at Parsons.

“Calling me a clown won’t change the fact that I told the truth. Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn’t have left,” Lawrence wrote.

It seemed that Parsons wasn’t the only one to take offense to the comments.

Trevon Diggs also reacted in posts that have now been deleted.

In one, according to Yahoo, he wrote: “Can’t go to war with somebody who really be hating on you.”

Former Cowboys defensive lineman — and recent Giants signing — Chauncey Golston also weighed in.

“I thought it was a brotherhood over EVERYTHING,” he wrote on X.

The Cowboys have not made an appearance in the Super Bowl in 30 years, and the team did not make it past the divisional round of the playoffs during Lawrence’s tenure.

Lawrence inked a deal with the Seahawks for $42 million that includes $18 million guaranteed, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The pᴀss rusher dealt with a foot injury that forced him to miss a majority of the 2024 season after a strong start.
