The Chiefs may have gotten their ‘replacement’ for Travis Kelce on Tuesday as Kansas City added тιԍнт end Robert Tonyan in free agency.
Kelce, 35, weighed up retirement after his team’s loss in the Super Bowl before deciding to return for a 13th season.
But Kansas City has bolstered their тιԍнт ends room with the signing of Tonyan, 30, who has 17 career touchdowns.
The тιԍнт end’s best season came in 2020 for the Packers, as he hauled in 586 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
He’s since played for the Bears and Vikings, and appeared in just five games for Minnesota last year.
Travis Kelce is returning for a 13th season, but it could be his farewell year in the NFL
