Giants need to fix plenty of other glaring issues in free agency — even beyond quarterback

We take a break — a very short break — from “All Quarterbacks, All the Time” to bring you something called NFL free agency — an avenue for the Giants to address their many other needs, while also never straying from the prime directive to find a quarterback capable of starting and winning games.

The Giants have money to spend — nearly $50 million in salary cap space, slightly higher than middle of the pack in the NFL — and the urgency that comes with a mandate to significantly improve from the three-win 2024 season.

That urgency is laser-focused on the quarterback position and what once seemed ridiculous to suggest is now a legitimate possibility: Aaron Rodgers could be the Giants’ starting quarterback in 2025.

The Giants in mid-November last season benched Daniel Jones, then released him, creating an opening at quarterback that has consumed the franchise for months.
