Kansas City Chiefs receiver Xavier Worthy was arrested on Friday night for ᴀssault against a family or household member by impeding breathing or circulation, according to online records reviewed by DailyMail.com.
Worthy was arrested in his native Texas after the alleged incident on Friday.
The former Texas Longhorns star and famed speedster was a first-round pick of the Chiefs in 2024 and caught 59 pᴀsses for 638 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie.
Furthermore, he had a touchdown catch in the AFC Championship win over the Buffalo Bills and two more in a Super Bowl defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.
