New York Giants quarterback and beloved New Jersey native Tommy DeVito has agreed to a new deal with the team, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
The 26-year-old has agreed to sign his exclusive rights tender ahead of the league’s open free agency.
Although the former Syracuse and Illinois product does have experience, appearing in a dozen games over his first two seasons with mixed results, he’s unlikely to head into 2025 as Big Blue’s starting quarterback.
That honor may fall to erstwhile Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is expected by many to ink a free-agent deal with the Giants when the signing period begins.
