NBA fan left red-faced after brutal kiss-cam rejection: ‘That must have hurt’

One NBA fan was embarrᴀssed to the point where his face turned red on Friday evening, as he was rejected by a friend sitting next to him during a kiss cam segment that played in front of the entire arena.

The unidentified male in a white Aeropostale shirt and a light brown hoodie and the female in a gray shirt and hoodie do not recognize they have been selected for the kiss cam until a few seconds after they appear on the jumbotron.

The man notices himself on video a split second before the women does, as they both laugh about the situation, and the male points at himself.

After looking down for a moment, the man leans in to go for the kiss on the woman, who does not move, leading him to immediately retreat and start looking at his phone.

The interaction happened midway through the first quarter of the game between the Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies, giving the pair a long time to think about what happened while sitting next to each other at Kia Center.

Many online roasted the man for his failed kiss attempt.

‘Wow he is so cringe!’ one person said on social media.

‘Poor lad. This one will leave marks for some decades,’ another person said on X.

‘It’s the broccoli hair. Ditch that s*** guys,’ someone added with a fashion tip for the kiss-denied male.

‘Thats rough. He should move on, but if he must continue the play book is: 1. Quit giving her the attention she thrives on. Don’t text 1st, take at least an hour to respond to hers. 2. Turn down 51% of offers to hang out. 3. Get an interesting hobby and don’t let her join,’ a final person concluded, who put plenty of thought into a social-media response.

The Magic lost tot the Grizzlies on Friday night, making the male not the only one feeling upset leaving the venue.
