NFL fans all say the same thing as Ivanka Trump shares pH๏τo of Tua Tagovailoa playing chess with her son

Miami Dolphins stars Tua Tagovailova and Braxton Berrios spent time with Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner’s family, sending NFL fans into a meltdown.

Ivanka, the daughter of President Donald Trump, shared an Instagram carousel Sunday to give her 8.3 million followers a glimpse at the family-friendly activities she got up to in February. And three snaps in particular caught the attention of football fans.

Within the post, the First Daughter revealed that the members of the Dolphins had enjoyed a day with Kushner and their son Theodore, pᴀssing the pigskin around.

In one pH๏τo Ivanka’s youngest son and her husband posed with the quarterback and the wide receiver, who is dating TikTok star Alix Earle. Meanwhile a video in the next slide showed Theodore showing off his arm with the NFL players.

However, it was the subsequent snap, which showed eight-year-old Theodore playing chess with Tagovailoa, that stirred up a social media storm.

Many NFL fans shared the same reaction as they hinted the chess game was a consequence of the multiple concussions the signal caller has suffered throughout his career.

‘To (sic) many hits to the head,’ one fan wrote on social media in response to a post sharing the pH๏τo.

‘He can play chess with all the #CTE,’ another said, referring to chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a degenerative brain disease many former NFL players have been diagnosed with following their deaths.

‘People with CTE love trump,’ another posted, while a fourth added: ‘Are we surprised, bros brain is mush.’

‘Oh he got CTE fa sho,’ one claimed as another echoed: ‘Brain damage from all those concussions.’

Tagovailoa suffered a concussion – the third-known head injury of his NFL career – during the team’s loss to the Buffalo Bills in September.

He slammed to the turf following a hit by Damar Hamlin during the third quarter of the Week 2 matchup and appeared to go straight into the fencing response.

The terrifying scenes sparked a flood of calls for the signal caller, who has suffered with multiple head injuries dating back to 2022, to retire from the game.

However, he returned to the field in October, suiting up against the Arizona Cardinals for Mike McDaniels.

Yet, despite fans pointing towards potential brain damage, Tagovailoa’s friendliness with the Trump family comes as no surprise.

His wife, Annah, sparked backlash when she re-shared a flattering post about the now-president ahead of last November’s election.

‘President Trump is housing 275 Florida linemen free of charge at his Doral Miami resort ahead of hurricane Milton’s landfall,’ read the original X post from conservative YouTuber Benny Johnson. ‘My President.’

‘Linemen,’ in this case, has nothing to with football, but rather the utility workers who helped prepare the region for last fall’s historic storm – which has caused catastrophic damage in Florida.

Annah went on to share the post, which sparked a meltdown from liberal users on the platform.

An outspoken evangelical Christian, Tua Tagovailoa met Annah at the University of Alabama and the couple has two children: A son, Ace, and a daughter, Maisey.
