Top NFL Draft prospect goes viral after outrunning two of the league's best RBs in breathtaking combine sprint

Virginia Tech running back Bhayshul Tuten had an extremely strong NFL combine on Saturday and outran two of the NFL’s best rushers in the process.

Tuten ran the 40-yard dash in a blazing 4.32 seconds, the best among running backs this year and the third-highest time overall so far.

And as shown by a composite video from NFL Network, Tuten also outpaced Jahmyr Gibbs and Saquon Barkley with his 40 time.

Both players produced strong dash times when they were prepping for the NFL Draft, with Barkley running a 4.40 in 2018 and Gibbs putting together an even better 4.36 in 2023.

But they still lagged behind the rapid the rapid Tuten, as a clip which spliced together all of their 40-yard-dashes shows Barkley several lengths behind the Virginia Tech back by the time the latter had reached the finish line.

The clip of the trio ‘racing’ has over 267,000 views on X, with fans blown away by Tuten’s speed.

‘210 lbs dudes are not supposed to be this fast,’ one said.

‘He’s a freak, another said.

Two non-running backs have bested Tuten so far in the 40-yard-dash this year: Iowa State cornerback Darien Porter and Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston.

Porter ran a 4.30 while Hairston edged him out with a 4.28.

Tuten didn’t just impress with his speed in Indianapolis, as his 40.50 inch vertical jump was the best mark among running backs this year and his 10-foot, 10 inch broad just was tied for second among rushers.

South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori leads all participants in the vertical and broad jump with marks of 43 inches and 11-feet-6-inches respectively.

On the bench press, Alabama тιԍнт end CJ Dippre and Oklahoma edge rusher Ethan Downs have established themselves as the strongest so far, with 32 reps apiece.
