Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt reflects on ‘painful’ moments in candid post after Super Bowl 2025 loss

Through all of February’s ups and downs, Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt is “thankful for every moment.”

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt reflected on her experiences this past month, including Kansas City’s heartbreaking Super Bowl 2025 loss to the Eagles on Feb. 9.

“The February Files: Feeling thankful for every moment that shapes life’s beautiful mosaic—the tough, the painful, the joyful, and everything in between. Most of all, I’m grateful for the incredible people who make it all worthwhile,” Hunt, 25, captioned the pH๏τo carousel, which boasted snapsH๏τs of her time in New Orleans and beyond.

The Chiefs entered the championship contest on the verge of Super Bowl history with the chance to three-peat.

Despite finishing the regular season at 15-2, Kansas City no-showed against Philadelphia in the Super Bowl, getting shutout in the first half, with quarterback Patrick Mahomes throwing two interceptions.

Although the Chiefs got on the board in the second half, it was too little too late as the Eagles flew away with the 40-22 victory.

Hunt reflected on the crushing defeat in a candid post hours after the game.

“Praise Him when you win. Praise Him when you lose,” the former Miss Kansas USA winner began on Instagram. “It wasn’t the result we were hoping for, but so proud of this team’s heart and the incredible season we had.”

Hunt concluded her post by thanking Chiefs Kingdom, calling them the “best fans in the NFL,” and vowed the reigning AFC champs will “be back.”

Her post Thursday comes on the heels of revived expectations that star тιԍнт end Travis Kelce is likely to return for 2025.

Speaking to the media this week from the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Chiefs general manager Brett Veach expanded on the 10-time Pro Bowler’s state of mind following a quiet Super Bowl performance.

“How we left it at the end of the season is that he was fired up,” Veach said of Kelce, who tallied four receptions for just 39 yards.

“He has one more year under contract. Still think he has that fire and desire to play. As far as I’m concerned, there is no ᴅᴇᴀᴅline [for a decision]. I think we left it as he’d be back. And we’re excited to get him back and get him going.”

Kelce, said to have been “battling pretty big illness” ahead of the game, is back stateside following a romantic getaway with girlfriend Taylor Swift.

He is due an $11.5 million roster bonus on March 14, according to Spotrac.
