Basketball WAG India Maddern announces her first pregnancy with Jock Landale – six months after the couple tied the knot in lavish ceremony

The WAG and NBA star, 29, shared the happy news to Instagram on Thursday and also announced their baby’s gender with a reel of black and white pH๏τos.

‘Can’t wait to meet you little man,’ India wrote alongside the post, indicating the couple will be welcoming a baby boy to the world.

India and Jock tied the knot in a romantic English countryside ceremony on August 13 last year.

The Aussie basketball player exchanged vows with his partner in front of their loved ones at a lavish ceremony held at Kin House in Chippenham.

Their friends shared an array of stunning pH๏τographs from the special day as the couple said ‘I do’ during the outdoor ceremony.

For the special day, NBA star Jock cut a dapper figure in a smart black tuxedo as he celebrated with his blushing bride.

India looked gorgeous in a strapless white satin gown, and she let her minimalist outfit do all the talking as she kept her accessories simple.

One video shared to Instagram showed the couple grinning from ear-to-ear as they walked towards their reception venue hand-in-hand after exchanging vows.

The newlyweds looked over the moon as they celebrated with their loved ones and danced the night away at their reception.

The couple said ‘I do’ on the grounds of luxury Georgian manor Kin House, which costs upwards of AUD$30,320 (£15,640) to hire.

The reception was then held inside the sprawling venue’s Kilvert Hall as their loved ones travelled from across the globe to attend the Wiltshire ceremony.

The couple held welcome drinks at the ‘fairytale destination’ the night before as they joined their family and friends ahead of their wedding day.

Jock and India have been dating for five years, with the pair getting engaged in 2022 and hosting an engagement party in Deniliquin, NSW.

They first met in high school but didn’t actually speak to each other until years later, when they were introduced by mutual friends just before the Covid pandemic.

‘I never said a word to her because I refused to talk to women back then—just didn’t know how to,’ he told the Herald Sun in 2022.

‘Two of our best mates, they set us up pre-Covid. From there, we were rolling, and, for me, I knew that I was going to be locked down, probably within two weeks.’

The lovebirds tied the knot just days after Jock represented Australia at the 2024 Paris Olympics in a huge achievement.

However, the Australian Boomers narrowly missed out on their chance at a medal after they were knocked out against Serbia during the quarter-finals.

After the disappointing loss, Jock wrote on Instagram: ‘No better basketball than when you put on the Green and Gold. That one hurt but we will be back better in 2028. Until then.’

Jock famously took home the bronze medal with the Boomers at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and he currently plays for American NBA team Houston Rockets.

He previously played for Melbourne United before heading stateside to join the San Antonio Spurs in 2021, before moving on to the Phoenix Suns.
