Travis Kelce reveals how Taylor Swift’s music helped him cope with Super Bowl loss

Travis Kelce appears to get over his tough times like any other Swiftie.

The star Chiefs тιԍнт end — probably the biggest Swiftie of all — revealed on Wednesday’s “New Heights” podcast that listening to his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s music helped him cope with Kansas City’s lopsided loss to the Eagles in Super Bowl 2025 earlier this month.

“I just listen to Taylor’s music,” Travis told his brother Jason while explaining why he listened to Swift’s songs when depressed. “She has something for everything.”

Jason agrees with his coping methods.

“That’s a good point,” he said. “No matter what mood, you can find some Taylor music.”

The conversation was sparked by Jason, who revealed his go-to music in those situations is “sad country songs, asking his brother if he listened to sad songs when down.

Travis said that whatever music he listened to was usually pretty reflective of his feelings at the time.

“Jason, the only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first,” Travis said “Right. I listen to music that is very telling of my mood.”

Travis certainly couldn’t have been in the best of moods after the Chiefs were crushed by the Eagles 40-22 at the Casers Superdome in the Super Bowl.

Philadelphia led 34-0 with 2:40 to play in the third quarter as it denied the Chiefs a historic third straight Super Bowl victory.

“And how the Eagles broke my heart,” Travis added in reference to the defeat, in which he had just four catches for 39 yards.

Swift, who has been dating Travis since the summer of 2023, was on hand for the big game to support her beau for the second straight year.

Plenty of retirement talk has surrounded Kelce, 35, since the loss, but Chiefs general manager Brett Veach told The Post on Tuesday that he expects the star тιԍнт end to be back.

“He has one more year under contract,” Veach said. “Still think he has that fire and desire to play. As far as I’m concerned, there is no ᴅᴇᴀᴅline [for a decision] I think we left it as he’d be back. And we’re excited to get him back and get him going.”
