Exclusive | Patriots great Vince Wilfork reveals how wife Yunka changed his life — I would’ve been a ‘f–king a–hole’

Patriots great Vince Wilfork doesn’t take for granted how his second wife Yunka Wilfork came into his life and “got me in order” nine years ago.

Wilfork, who won two Super Bowl тιтles during his 11 seasons in New England, recalled being headed down a path of becoming a “f–king a–hole” — until he met Yunka.

“She a cool girl. [We met] nine years ago,” Wilfork, 43, told The Post while discussing his partnership with Tums. “She’s my second wife, so I divorced my first [wife Bianca Farinas], and then I met her.

“[Yunka] changed my life. She changed everything. The way I view life is different because of conversations and experiences with her, and just going through life. We’re very similar in our lives. Her childhood was similar to mine. It was just so many different things we connected on.

“Without her, I wouldn’t be the person I am right now. No, man … I would be a f–king a–hole. I’m just being honest because I was there. She got me in order. She got me to view life differently, so a lot of credit goes to her. She’s my best friend.”

Wilfork said the two are homebodies outside of his work.

The two-time Super Bowl champ revealed he tied the knot with Yunka on social media in Dec. 2022.

Wilfork did not publicly announce his first divorce.

“We watch shows and movies. We’re homebodies. We sit home all day and watch us some TV shows,” he said, adding that they just started “No Good Deed,” a comedy television series on Netflix.

“We have to catch up on ‘Outer Banks’ and a couple more. We haven’t had time because we’re moving and the grandbabies.

“We’re easy people. We don’t party, we don’t do any of that. If she needs me, she can come find me at the golf course, fishing.”

Wilfork added that his wife would say the best thing about him is his heart.

“Probably my personality and probably who I am,” he said. “The person I am, my heart. You’ve got to understand, I took care of my father. I’m a caregiver since I was eight. Me and my brother, he was 10, we took care of my father.”

The couple has long supported the USO, a nonprofit organization that provides social facilities and other programs to service members and their families.

Wilfork also sH๏τ down the thought of taking on a potential coaching role.

“I don’t got time for that, you ain’t finna stress me out,” said the former All-Pro tackle, laughing. “Football stresses me out enough. I’m good.”
