Jets’ quest for new idenтιтy at quarterback and beyond begins now

INDIANAPOLIS — The Jets have left Mr. Rodgers’ Neighborhood. Now, their search for a new idenтιтy begins.

The Jets come to the NFL Scouting Combine here this week with a new general manager, new head coach and in search of a new quarterback. That is the headline as the Jets come to Indiana, where roster construction for the 2025 season truly begins.

New general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn arrived here Monday. They are scheduled to meet with the media on Tuesday and then will have a barrage of meetings with player agents and college prospects.

The Jets enter this offseason with plenty of holes to fill and they have resources to make moves. They have eight draft picks and should have between $50 million and $60 million in salary cap space after they make some cuts.
