Skip Bayless has officially waived his Dallas Cowboys fandom and jumped onto another team’s bandwagon.
The former Undisputed host has become synonymous with his undying belief in Jerry Jones’ team despite their recent form. His support for the Cowboys has often made him a subject of ridicule from his peers.
After another tragic season, Bayless decided it was time to change scenery and revealed where his support would go moving forward.
In a four-minute video on X, Bayless swapped his Cowboys jersey for Jalen Hurts gear, proclaiming his Eagles fandom.
Bayless explained the undying frustration he had felt as a Cowboys fan. Furthermore, he noted how he, though his heart was against it, objectively and correctly called the Eagles’ success.
‘I had to sit painfully, silently, and watch Howie Roseman, the GM of the Philadelphia Eagles win the entire offseason,’ Bayless lamented. ‘He won free agency, he won the draft. He had the greatest offseason any GM has ever had, and I finally gave up.’

‘In August, I said, publicly, the Eagles are going to win the Super Bowl. And guess what? I proved to be painfully, traitorously, ridiculously prophetic. I’m a genius about the Philadelphia Eagles because they did go win the Super Bowl,’ he continued.
‘Which has led me to this. It has come to this for me. I have now purchased, with my own money, this jersey featuring a quarterback I have always loved, Jalen Hurts, and a team I have always hated, the freaking Philadelphia Eagles.’
After making three straight playoff appearances, the Cowboys suffered a 7-10 season to end up third in the NFC East. Meanwhile, divisional winner Philadelphia capped off an incredible campaign with a defensive masterclass to spoil the Kansas City Chiefs’ three-peat dreams.
As a result, Bayless, a diehard Cowboys fan, publicly renounced the legendary franchise for the reigning Super Bowl champions. However, it was no easy task.
‘I hate this color. It makes me sick in my stomach,’ he said of the Hurts jersey, before putting it on.
‘Behold Cowboy nation,’ he continued. ‘Fly Eagles fly. It’s your fault, Jerry Jones. You made me do this.’
