Jason Kelce says he lost all his money at Super Bowl 2025 — here’s how his luck ran out

Jason Kelce’s luck ran out at the craps table ahead of Super Bowl 2025 in New Orleans.

During Wednesday’s installment of the “New Heights” podcast, Kelce recalled “losing all of my money at the casino” before attending the Eagles’ 40-22 rout of the Chiefs at Caesars Superdome on Feb. 9.

“I went to a ‘New Heights’ party. I went to a [Chris] Stapleton concert. Outside of that, I just lost all my money at the casino,” Jason told his co-host, Chiefs тιԍнт end Travis Kelce. “Casino’s right next door, and because I won so much money last year at Las Vegas [at the Super Bowl], I thought, ‘You know, hey, we’ll just keep this rolling, this will be great.’

“Yup, didn’t work this time. It’s back to why I don’t normally go to the casino. It’s just like handing them money.”

Jason — who retired last March after spending his entire 13-year NFL career with the Eagles — explained that things went downhill while he was at the craps table.

“I’m sitting there playing craps,” he said. “This f–king dude is sitting down playing the ‘don’t pᴀss’ line, killing it, just killing it… I want to kill this guy so bad.”

“To be honest, [the craps table] was a bigger bloodbath than the game was. I know you’re frustrated with the Eagles-Chiefs game. The craps table with Jason Kelce versus this guy was even more embarrᴀssing.”

Travis added, “I don’t know if it can get any more embarrᴀssing than that.”

Jason, who made $82 million in career earnings as a six-time All-Pro center, joined ESPN as an analyst in May.

The 37-year-old also hosted “They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce,” a live show that spanned five weeks on Friday nights during the latter half of this NFL season, including the playoffs.

Jason’s ESPN contract was for three years and $24 million, according to Andrew Marchand of The Athletic.

Elsewhere in the “New Heights” podcast, Travis addressed the Chiefs’ blowout loss, which spoiled the Chiefs’ quest for a historic three-peat.

“Just wasn’t our day,” said Travis, who finished with four receptions for 39 yards. “Couldn’t find a lick of momentum. I’m kicking myself for some of the tiny, tiny decisions I made on the field.”

The Eagles held the Chiefs scoreless until the third quarter.

Philadelphia’s top-ranked defense sacked Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes a career-high six times.

Kelce’s playing future is uncertain as he faces retirement questions after 12 seasons, all with Kansas City.

During an appearance Wednesday on “The Rich Eisen Show,” The Athletic’s Dianna Russini revealed the Chiefs тιԍнт end is “leaning more toward” playing.
