BREAKING NEWSєx-NFL star Terrell Suggs pleads guilty to criminal charge after 'threatening to kill man at Starbucks'

Former NFL star Terrell Suggs has pleaded guilty to a criminal charge one year after he allegedly brandished a firearm and threatened to kill a man at a Starbucks drive-through.

Suggs, a two-time Super Bowl-winning linebacker, was arrested back in April 2024, roughly one month after the incident took place in Arizona.

Police documents suggested it started when the ex-Baltimore Ravens hero accidentally knocked into another man’s vehicle at the drive-through, before they both got out of their cars and began arguing.

After getting back in his car, Suggs was accused of telling the other man ‘I’ll kill your b**** a***’ before flashing a black handgun outside of his driver’s side window.

While officials noted the gun was not pointed at the other man, they still believe the former pᴀss rusher was trying to threaten him.

A year on from the incident, Suggs pleaded guilty to one criminal charge of disorderly conduct on Thursday, TMZ reports.

He appeared at a court in Maricopa County, Arizona wearing a shirt and tie, before submitting his guilty plea after cutting a deal with prosecutors.

As part of the deal, officials agreed to drop a second charge of threatening or intimidating he had been slapped with after the March 2024 incident.

Suggs is now facing either time in jail or probation, with sentencing date officially slated for April 1.

However, after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct a spokesperson for the 41-year-old said he is ‘relieved’ to put the incident behind him.

‘Terrell is relieved that he can now put this unfortunate incident behind him,’ the spokesperson is quoted as saying by TMZ.

‘The safety and well-being of his family and himself have always been his top priority, and he is grateful that they are all safe. He appreciates the support and understanding from everyone during this time and he looks forward to moving forward.’

Suggs had driven past the ordering speaker at a Scottsdale Starbucks drive-through, and made contact with another man’s vehicle when he put his car in reverse.

While there was allegedly no damage to the other driver’s car, cops said both drivers exited their vehicles and began to argue, with the former Ravens man later giving the man the middle finger as he was about to leave himself.

At that point, according to police documents, the argument ramped up again, with Suggs allegedly challenging the man to a fight, calling him a ‘p**** a*** cracker’ and saying ‘I’ll kill your b**** a***.’

He then allegedly flashed the black handgun in his left hand, outside of his driver’s side window.

Suggs was also arrested back in 2016 for driving with a suspended license, police said at the time.

In that situation, he was allegedly involved in a car accident and fled the scene, before being taken to Scottsdale City Jail and later being released.

Suggs played an impressive 17 years in the NFL, earning seven Pro Bowl selections.

He was a lynchpin of the Baltimore defense and won Super Bowl XLVII with the team in 2013.

Suggs later joined the Chiefs in his final season, after playing for the Cardinals the same year, and won Super Bowl LIV.
