Horrifying moment Eagles fan holding a baby fights with woman during Philadelphia Super Bowl parade

Philadelphia Eagles fans were pictured fighting each other at the team’s Super Bowl parade – with one man holding a baby as they battled.

Over a million people lined the streets of the city on Friday afternoon to celebrate the Eagles’ dominant 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans.

But as the likes of Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley soaked up the adoration of their fans, unsavory scenes spoiled the day for some.

Footage from one part of the parade route shows a skirmish break out on the sidewalk. It’s unclear what started it but a woman can be seen striking and shoving a man, who is carrying a baby in his arm.

The infant is flung from side to side as a separate brawl then breaks out. As the man tries to intervene, the baby is put in the middle of the fight.

The man can then be seen squaring up to and exchanging insults with a woman as the baby sits in his arm. Fortunately, it appears nobody was hurt.

There was further chaos amid the celebrations in Philadelphia with two women sH๏τ in the city following an argument.

Police said the shooting unfolded near the 2300 block of Ben Franklin Parkway, half a mile from where Eagles players celebrated their win on stage in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Officials in the City of Brotherly Love said that two women, ages 20 and 27, had been sH๏τ in the legs near the parade by an unknown man.

The 27-year-old suffered a gunsH๏τ wound to her left leg, while the 20-year-old was sH๏τ in the upper left thigh.

Both women were rushed to Presbyterian Hospital where they are currently listed as being in a stable condition, according to police.

Officers said that no weapon has been recovered and no arrests have been made as their investigation continues.

Deputy Police Commissioner Frank Vanore told The Philadelphia Inquirer that the man was wearing an Eagles jersey and that it had happened after an argument.

Sources told the outlet that the two women were near a skate park when a fight erupted and a man let off sH๏τs.

The 27-year-old was a bystander and didn’t know the other woman, the law enforcement source said.

Aerial images from CBS News showed an ambulance attempting to drive through a throng of people.

The shooting comes just a year after 33 people were wounded and one was killed in a mᴀss shooting at the previous Super Bowl Parade for the Chiefs.

Upwards of one million people were expected to descend on Philadelphia for the celebrations on Friday.

It came after Eagles general manager Howie Roseman was left bloodied during the parade after being struck in the forehead when fans threw items at the team.

Defensive back CJ Gardner-Johnson also made headlines at the parade as he wore a rude sweatshirt that took aim at Taylor Swift.

The parade began on Friday in South Philadelphia, continuing toward Broad Street as thousands of Eagles fans packed the streets.

The route ended at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on the famous ‘Rocky Steps’, where stars including Jalen Hurts addressed huge crowds.

The stars thanked the city for its response to their landslide win against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, but made no mention of the shooting in their remarks.

Although the shooting unfolded less than a mile from where the Eagles celebrated, it was not directly on the parade route.

Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker and other city leaders earlier this week implored the team´s exuberant fans to stay safe and keep the mood festive.

‘In the midst of all this beauty, all of the sacrifices this team has made to meet this moment, we don´t want it to all go by the wayside,’ the mayor said.
