Music producer and DJ Dillon Francis has revealed just how sad the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl after-party was on Sunday after their blowout loss to the Eagles.
Francis, who is followed by Travis Kelce on Instagram, shared a video of the night and said that he played for just three people.
The plans for a wild night of celebrating were left in ruins after the Philadelphia Eagles, in the words of Francis, ‘destroyed’ Kelce’s team with a 40-22 score that made the game seem closer than it really was.
In the video, which has been liked more than 57,000 times on Instagram, Francis shows himself trying to hype up a near-empty crowd after preparing for ‘11,000 people’ to show up.
‘Got asked to play the Chiefs’ Super Bowl after party, this is how it went,’ Francis begins the video by saying.
He later continued: ‘I was worried nobody would show up… (and) nobody showed up. I even tried to get three people there to sing along.’
Dillon Francis hoped to be DJing for thousands of people at the Chiefs’ after-party
But virtually no one showed up after Kansas City lost to the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX

Travis Kelce and his Chiefs teammates were in no mood to party after the loss on Sunday
Francis seemed to take the awkward situation in stride as he captioned the video,’ ‘Sometimes you have to go back to your roots and DJ for 3 people.’
Understandably, the Chiefs were in no mood to party after being trounced by the Eagles – who led by 34-0 at one point in the game.
A melancholy Travis Kelce was also seen going up to the suites in the Superdome to see girlfriend Taylor Swift and his family after a relatively quiet performance.
