With the Las Vegas Raiders’ rebuild in full swing, the pieces and ᴀssets Tom Brady and Co. may look to acquire in exchange for Maxx Crosby have become apparent.
The 27-year-old has been with the Franchise for all six of his seasons in the NFL and has expressed wanting to be a ‘Raider for life’ in the past.
However, he has also expressed his frustrations with the team’s ever-changing cast and mounting losses.
Given Crosby’s desire to win, a relocation might be a feasible move for him this offseason.
And with a new era in Sin City, with Tom Brady influencing much of the front office decisions, the team looks to acquire a franchise quarterback to build around, according to Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.
The Raiders may consider trading their star defensive end for a bounty of picks to expedite the process.

Brady’s influence has already been practiced in hiring Pete Carroll as the Raiders head coach and John Spytek as their GM. The changes came after a 4-13 season for Las Vegas.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion, who had his minority ownership approved late in 2024, immediately grabbed the stirring wheel in Vegas and captained the rebuild.
Brady, who officially became a minority owner in October, was heavily involved in interviewing coaching candidates, according to owner Mark Davis. He also hopes the pair could turn the Raiders’ fate around.
‘We want to build something here and again, that’s been the process and that mindset all along,’ Davis said. ‘Like I said, it got offset or kind of blown up when Jon Gruden was sent away and so we’ve been trying to get it right since then and we’ll see, but I’ve got patience to get it right, and I think we’ve got the people now — again I’ve always felt that — results are what speak to me and that’s what we’ll see.’
With leadership positions filled, the Raiders will begin the rebuild process in the field with Crosby’s future in Las Vegas remaining a question.
Crosby tallied 28 solo and 17 ᴀssisted tackles with 7.5 sacks this past season. He has two years and about $44million remaining on the extension he signed in 2022.
