Woman ex-Chiefs star Kadarius Toney allegedly strangled 'was seven months pregnant' as 911 call emerges

The woman who was allegedly strangled by NFL player Kadarius Toney told cops she was seven months pregnant and holding her daughter when he attacked her, according to a new report.

Toney, a two-time Super Bowl winner with the Chiefs, was arrested on February 6 on one count of aggravated ᴀssault-strangulation and one count of obstructing/harᴀssing 911 calls, according to online records viewed by TMZ.

On Thursday, the outlet published 911 audio from the woman – Toney’s girlfriend – in which she shared she was heavily pregnant during the January 14 attack in Douglasville, Georgia.

While the woman said she wasn’t feeling any contractions and declined receiving medical attention, she said she had fled to her neighbor’s house barefoot to remove herself from the home she and Toney shared.

According to a police report viewed by TMZ, cops wrote that the woman had red marks on her neck and petechial hemorrhaging in her eyes.

Cops also said that the woman was prevented by the wide receiver from making 911 calls, as he took her phone from her.

There was a warrant issued for Toney’s arrest on January 15, and his bond was set at $25,000 for each of his two charges when he was arrested the following month.

Police documents provided to TMZ alleged that Toney squeezed a woman’s throat ‘with enough force to cause her to be unable to breath.’

He was no longer in custody on February 7, records show.

A former first-round pick, the 26-year-old Toney played for the Chiefs the last two seasons before being waived and resurfacing with the Cleveland Browns in 2024.

Despite picking up two rings with the Chiefs, Toney is perhaps best known for lining up offsides during a crucial moment of a regular-season game against the rival Buffalo Bills.

The flag negated what would have been the game-winning touchdown after тιԍнт end Travis Kelce deftly lateralled to Toney, who managed to scamper into the end zone before the points were taken off the board.

A year earlier, Toney caught a touchdown and returned a punt 65 yards to set up another score in a Super Bowl LVII win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Miami.

A first-round pick by the Giants, Toney showed flashes of his ability with Big Blue, as he racked up 189 receiving yards in one game against the Cowboys.

However, he struggled with injuries throughout his time in New York and was traded to Kansas City in 2022.
