Little Children (2006)

Little Children is a 2006 satirical drama film directed by Todd Field, based on the 2004 novel by Tom Perrotta, who co-wrote the screenplay with Field. Kate Winslet’s portrayal of Sarah is outstanding, capturing the character’s inner conflict and vulnerability as she grapples with her affair and the realization of the consequences it may bring. Brad, played by Patrick Wilson, is similarly conflicted—he is both charming and deeply insecure, struggling with his own responsibilities as a father and husband while being drawn into the temptation of a forbidden relationship.
