Two-time Super Bowl Champion Kadarius Toney was arrested in Georgia over allegations he strangled a woman, according to online records reviewed by DailyMail.com.
Police in Georgia issued a warrant for 26-year-old former member of the Kansas City Chiefs last month for allegedly squeezing a woman’s throat “with enough force to cause her to be unable to breath,’ according to police documents provided to TMZ.
DailyMail.com has reached out to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department for more information.
A former first-round pick, the 26-year-old Toney began the season with the Chiefs before being waived and resurfacing with the Cleveland Browns.
Ultimately he was done in by a poor performance in Week 14 in which he muffed a punt and was flagged for taunting. He was later released on December 10.
