A young Eagles superfan was given an incredible experience at the Super Bowl when he introduced his team alongside Bradley Cooper.
Declan LeBaron, 9, was held up by the A-list actor as they performed the ‘E-A-G-L-E-S’ chant on Sunday and brought out Philly at the Superdome.
On Monday, LeBaron – who deals with systemic juvenile arthritis – and his family spoke to the TODAY show to recap their wild weekend.
The entire family, who also appeared on TODAY ahead of the Super Bowl, got tickets to the game on behalf of the NFL, with Cooper even appearing on that February 4 show to present them with tickets.
After the game on Monday, LeBaron smiled on the program as he said he ‘had a lot of fun’ watching his Eagles dismantle the Chiefs.
His touching pregame introduction with Cooper was televised on TV, and LeBaron’s mother, Jillian, revealed that Cooper had FaceTimed them earlier in the week, asking if he’d join him in introducing their favorite team.

Their family spoke about their incredible weekend afterwards on the TODAY show
‘It’s just been incredible,’ Jillian reflected on TODAY. ‘And we’ve gotten so many messages from other families just thanking us for spreading awareness about juvenile arthritis.’
LeBaron’s story went viral after he was featured in a video from MDMotivator, in which the content creator asks Declan if he’d rather have a $1000 or a ‘mystery bird’ Eagles plush toy.
Declan then explained his love for the Eagles before revealing that he’d been to the hospital 17 times dealing with his painful health issues.
Later in the video, Declan was gifted two tickets to the NFC Championship Game before handing out the $1,000 to other shoppers in the grocery store they were in.
He was later able to spend some time on the field before the game, meeting Saquon Barkley, while he and Cooper interacted for the first time as the latter blew a kiss towards the young fan.
Cooper later told the Pat McAfee Show that he was unaware of Declan’s story at that time.
Following the whirlwind weekend, Jillian gushed about the trip on her Instagram page.
‘This trip was an absolute dream, a fairytale!,’ she said.
‘We cannot thank everyone enough for their support.’
Ultimately, Declan’s moment with Cooper was only the beginning of a great night as the Eagles dominated the Chiefs from start to finish and won 40-22.
