Eagles fans burn Kermit puppet, chant ‘F–k Taylor Swift’ in vile Super Bowl 2025 celebrations

There apparently is some “Bad Blood” between Eagles fans and Taylor Swift — and even Kermit.

After the Philadelphia faithful booed Swift at Super Bowl 2025 in New Orleans on Sunday, those celebrating the 40-22 triumph in the City of Brotherly Love chanted “F–k Taylor Swift,” as captured on social media.

Eagles fans also burned a Kermit puppet — with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes often being said to look like the popular Muppet — along with Chiefs jerseys, while also ripping at least one.

Warning: Video contains vulgar language

The celebrations in Philadelphia went about as expected considering Philadelphia’s reputation for hostile behavior toward enemy fans, including this year’s viral moment when one Eagles fan unleashed vile comments toward a female Packers fan that resulted in him losing his job.

One clip showed fans lighting at least one Chiefs jersey on fire before someone said “Taylor Swift,” which led to the not-so-nice comments toward the pop star.

It’s worth noting that Swift actually played at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia from May 12-14, 2023, so there are clearly some Swifties in Philadelphia.

The fans also piled on Mahomes, who had an awful night facing a menacing Philadelphia pᴀss rush.

Mahomes had one of the worst games of his career, throwing for a career-low 33 first-half yards and tossing a pick-six that changed the game in the second quarter.

The short clip featuring Kermit being burned included fans chanting “F–k the Chiefs” while fireworks erupted in the background.

The video featuring the Swift chants also concluded with a white Mahomes jersey being ripped by a group of youngsters.

These scenes unfolded among wild celebrations in Philadelphia, which included fans climbing light poles and even knocking one over.

Some reveling citizens also jumped on top of ambulances to celebrate the franchise’s second Super Bowl тιтle.

The city’s celebrations after winning the NFC championship game, unfortunately, turned tragic when an 18-year-old died after falling from a light pole, while two others were sH๏τ but survived.
