EXCLUSIVECigars, champagne and sH๏τs: Inside the wild Philadelphia Eagles locker room party after Super Bowl glory

The victorious Philadelphia Eagles team were ready to party the night away after ruthlessly beating the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

After leaving Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes close to tears at Caesars Superdome, exclusive video from DailyMail.Com shows how the Eagles locker room erupted into a wild party, with cigar smoke filling the air as music was blasting.

Winning quarterback Jalen Hurts was puffing away on a cigar while teammate Saquon Barkley had an extra reason to celebrate, given that the Super Bowl was played on his 28th birthday.

The star running back was filmed sH๏τting beers while his jubilant teammates cheered him on.

‘I really can’t sum up my emotions,’ Barkley said, speaking to DailyMail.Com in a brief moment away from the chaos. ‘Words can’t describe it.

‘I tried to stay locked in the whole time before the game. My confidence grew, this team is special. I knew we were going to get it done.

‘The plan for tonight is to celebrate with these guys and go and celebrate my birthday.’

Head coach Nick Sirianni was also mobbed by his players in scenes a far cry from the disaster that was the previous season.

Sirianni was considered lucky to have kept his job when the Eagles’ form nosedived from 11-1 to 11-6 before a first round playoff exit to Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now, he’s a Super Bowl champion, avenging the 2023 Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs in merciless style.

The 73-year-old Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was in the middle of the partying too, holding the Vince Lombardi trophy under his arm as the Eagles stars cheered his arrival.

General manager Howie Roseman was also welcomed in by the team as the celebrations hit full swing.

Eagles quarterback Hurts also went viral for taking a moment away from the partying to sit with the Lombardi trophy outside of the locker room.

The 26-year-old, who was also named Super Bowl MVP, was pictured with his lit cigar in his mouth and the trophy in his hands as he sat on the floor and let his achievement wash over him.

‘The offense was able to score points and take advantage of opportunities, just enough to put points on the board, and the defense, the defense played their ᴀss off,’ Hurts said after the game.

‘Things come right on time. The last time around, it wasn’t our time, it wasn’t my time,’ he added, reflecting on the loss to the Chiefs in 2023.

‘Sometimes you have to accept that you have to wait your turn. As great as the performance was, it wasn’t enough to win.

‘Going through those emotions and processing those things, that experience, lit a great flame in me and enhanced my desire to win.’

Hurts will be at Disney World in Florida on Monday, continuing the NFL tradition of the winning quarterback taking part in a celebratory parade at Magic Kingdom that is scheduled for 2:30pm Eastern time.

The team headed on to an afterparty at their H๏τel in the city after eventually leaving the stadium.

The DJ Diplo took the celebrations onto a new level, while Hollywood actor and Eagles fan Miles Teller joined the party.
