Travis Kelce compares playing in the Super Bowl to performing with Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour

Travis Kelce compared the spotlights on stage at the Eras Tour in Wembley to his Super Bowl appearances, claiming it wasn’t much of a difference.

During the offseason, Kelce swapped roles with girlfriend Taylor Swift, who had been to several Chiefs games on recess from her record-breaking tour.

In return, Kelce followed Swift to Europe over the summer, and several shows Stateside early into the season.

On June 23, Kelce sent shockwaves through Wembley by appearing on stage with the 14-time Grammy winner during one of her many sold-out concerts.

Speaking to Westwood One Sports before the Super Bowl in New Orleans, Kelce opened up about the experience.

‘I’ve been on a few stages in my life, that one was definitely the most shocking. I felt like an ant in a whole new world,’ the Chiefs тιԍнт end shared.

‘That stadium, the lights, and how they went insane. The whole time, I’m thinking, ‘Oh snap, I have a job to do. I gotta lock in and I gotta make this fun. I gotta make this entertaining.’

‘Tay gave me the opportunity to go up there and have some fun,’ he continued. ‘We’re gonna show her how much fun we can really have up there. Sure enough, the crowd was off their rocker. It was insane in there for a while and a memory I’ll never forget for sure.’

When asked how his performative endeavor compared to his four Super Bowl appearances, Kelce shared ‘I feel like there’s similarities.’

‘I was up there my guy Cam and Jan, and, obviously, Taylor,’ Kelce continued. ‘There was that team aspect that ‘alright, we’re here together, I’m not all here by myself. There was that team feeling.’

‘There was some comradery and some chemistry up there but for the most part, the biggest difference is that I’m in a football uniform and a helmet. I got a completely different game plan than just going out there and having fun.’

Kelce has the chance to help Kansas City achieve history by becoming the first team to three-peat in Super Bowl history.

The Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday night.
