Tom Brady beams at Michael Rubin's star-studded New Orleans party as he prepares to call first ever Super Bowl

Tom Brady was one of many famous faces at billionaire pal Michael Rubin’s pre-Super Bowl party in New Orleans on Friday.

Rubin, the founder and CEO of digital sports platform Fanatics, held his annual ‘Super Bowl luncheon’ on the eve of Sunday’s game at Caesars Superdome, where the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles.

Amongst a number of high-profile guests from the world of sports, business and entertainment was his good friend Brady, who is set to call his first ever Super Bowl with Fox this weekend.

The legendary quarterback looked in fine spirits as he posed alongside NFL stars past and present in Joe Burrow, Odell Beckham Jr, Jayden Daniels, and Peyton and Eli Manning.

At one stage he could also be seen chatting with Daniels, who was recently named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year after a breathtaking season with the Washington Commanders, and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Brady shared a pH๏τo of himself, Burrow, Beckham Jr and Eli Manning on his Instagram story and joked with the caption: ‘This looks like an Entourage reboot’.

He also posted a snap of him and Rubin along with another light-hearted caption that read: ‘when does the event planning business launch?’

Other noticeable NFL figures at Rubin’s lunch were Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin and league commissioner Roger Goodell.

Also in attendance were rappers Meek Mills and Travis Scott, Nike President and CEO Elliott Hill, British businesswoman Emma Grede, Target CEO Bryan Cornell and Walmart heir Josh Kroenke.

Brady was beaming from ear to ear at the party just days out from his broadcasting debut at the Super Bowl, despite news of his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen welcoming her first child with new partner Joaquim Valente breaking this week.

Bundchen, who split from Brady in 2022 after 13 years of marriage, recently gave birth to her third baby, TMZ reported on Wednesday, with mother and child both said to be ‘happy and healthy.’

One day after the news was announced, the Patriots legend shared a cryptic post from another user on his Instagram story, which includes an emotional message about ‘being loved’ and ‘having a friend’.

‘I really think the secret to being loved is to love,’ the post reads. ‘And the secret to being interesting is to be interested. And the secret to having others find beauty in you is to find beauty in others. And the secret to having a friend is being a friend.’

He wrote alongside it on his story: ‘Love this’.

Brady’s first year as a commentator for Fox has proven highly controversial after he acquired a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders back in October.

Many have argued that his role with the Raiders creates a conflict of interest for him on Fox, who only handed him a 10-year deal worth $375million last year.

Despite the outrage, Brady recently shut down any possibility of his deal with the network coming to an abrupt end.

‘I’ve got nine years left on my deal and maybe longer, you never know,’ he told Fox colleague Colin Cowherd last month.

‘If Fox wants me and I want to go [on], we’ll just keep going, cause it’s been really fun thus far.’
