REVEALED: The stunning amount Jason Kelce secured with ESPN after joining 'Monday Night Football' crew

The magic number behind Jason Kelce’s ESPN contract was revealed by The Athletic after he inked a three-year deal to join the network as an analyst for Monday Night Countdown.

Following his successful career as a player in the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles legend signed a $24million deal to perform analytic duties for the world leader in sports.

His salary was unveiled in a story predicting who the next nine-figure NFL analyst could be. Some names listed included Rams head coach Sean McVay, Chiefs тιԍнт end Travis Kelce, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, CBS’ J.J. Watt, and Fox’s Greg Olsen.

Kelce’s transition into broadcasting followed his retirement after the 2023 season, capping a 13-year playing career that pieced together a Hall of Fame argument.

After hanging up his cleats, Kelce immediately drew interest from NBC, CBS, and Amazon Prime.

Nonetheless, Kelce landed at ESPN, calling it a ‘tremendous honor to even be considered to potentially work there.’

‘I did my due diligence, you want to make sure you’re really looking at things, talking to people that are knowledgeable in the industry — neither one of us have ever done something like this,’ Kelce said in April during an episode of the New Heights podcast with brother Travis.

‘Throughout the whole process, meeting and talking to everyone over at ESPN, it became apparent that it was really the right fit and at the end of the day, something that I’m really, really looking forward to this next phase.’

Since joining ESPN, Kelce became a mainstay on their ‘Monday Night Football’ programs and launched a late-night talk show ‘They Call It Late Night With Jason Kelce’ on January 4.

Furthermore, New Heights, which launched in September 2022, landed a $100million deal with Amazon in August.
