Jimmy Butler wasted no time sharing some lofty expectations for his new team.
Butler arrived in California on Thursday just one day after being traded to the Warriors, where he told fans that an NBA Finals is on the horizon.
“Ready to win, ready to work, ready to put on a show for y’all,” he said in a post shared on the Warriors’ X account. “Let’s get it. Championship coming soon.”
Butler, 35, was traded from the Heat to Golden State on Wednesday in a blockbuster five-team trade in which the Warriors sent off Andrew Wiggins to Miami.
Upon being traded to the Warriors, Butler declined his 2025-26 player option, signing a two-year extension instead.
