Awkward moment Aaron Rodgers is snubbed by fan while trying to sign autographs

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a bit of an embarrᴀssing moment while out playing golf in Arizona this week.

Rodgers was taking part in the Pro-Am at the PGA Tour’s Waste Management Phoenix Open on Wednesday.

He was paired with World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler for the round and naturally, his group drew plenty of attention from fans that lined the fairways.

In between holes, Rodgers happened to see one fan that was shouting out to his group and asking for an autograph.

When Rodgers approached one fan, ready to sign a cap for them, he was then told that the person actually wanted a signature from Scheffler.

Rodgers appeared to motion over to Scheffler to try and fulfill the fan’s request.

The 41-year-old Rodgers is in the midst of a lengthy offseason of recovery following a lackluster regular season with the Jets.

After missing almost all of his first season in New York with an Achilles injury, Rodgers returned in 2024 with his heart set on getting back to the playoffs.

Instead, the Jets were horrible. They went 5-12 on the season and finished toward the bottom of the NFL.

New York will have the seventh overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft – with Jets fans hoping that selection will benefit the team in the long run.

But in the short-term, questions about Rodgers’ future in New York have continued to pop up.

While new Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has said he wants to keep Rodgers on the team, the quarterback has previously teased the idea of either retiring or leaving for another franchise.

So far, there hasn’t been any recent developments on his future – or what the franchise might be willing to do with Rodgers.
