Jeff Ross, AKA the “Roastmaster General,” knows exactly what his role is.

“All I gotta do is get stoned and write the jokes,” Ross told The Post in a wide-ranging interview ahead of Super Bowl 2025. “[Jeff] Beacher has to do everything else.”

Ross and Beacher, two longtime friends, are taking over New Orleans for Super Bowl week. Tickets to their shows on Friday and Saturday are some of the most exclusive commodities in the city, with A-listers lining up to attend.

“Beacher’s Madhouse” – which revolutionized live entertainment and first debuted at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in 2002 –  is a circus-like show that can’t properly be explained without being experienced, though Ross gives it his best sH๏τ.

“A circus inside a comedy show, inside a Pride parade, inside an orgy, inside Super Bowl weekend. All mapped up into one, hilarious, amazing night,” Ross said of the show that has long established itself as one of the top attractions for celebrities across the country.

And Ross has emerged as one of the most popular comedians in the country, exploding recently as the host of Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady,” which garnered 13.8 million views in just its first week after release.

Ross also had his own Netflix show, “Torching 2024: A Roast of the Year,” released last December.

He is hosting a roast/comedy show on Friday in New Orleans, while “Beacher’s Madhouse” will deliver a pop-up performance Saturday, with Cardi B set to perform along with Ross, among others.

Ross grew up in New Jersey and Beacher or Long Island, yet Louisiana governor Jeff Landry proclaimed Friday as “Jeff Ross Day” and Saturday as “Jeff Beacher Day.”

With so many different attractions, parties and commitments during Super Bowl week, why are the biggest stars rushing to see their acts?

“It’s not me,” Beacher said. “The reason I dove into this, and I was like ‘Jeff, let’s go do this,’ you go 12 years ago when I did the first ‘Beacher’s Madhouse’ [during a Super Bowl week], there was only a couple parties, there was only a couple of things going on. The hospitality world dove into – every nightclub is out there, every DJ is out there, there’s so much partying, it’s become a mess. My whole vision was ‘let’s take this beautiful little room, that holds 300 people, let’s give real theater, let’s give the best community in the world, let’s give the best, wildest, theatrical experiential entertainment to the world.’

“The reason why they all love us is because everyone doesn’t want to go to a party. They want to be in a party in a safe setting. They love my cast. Our performers. Jeff’s [Ross] a performer. … Our community, that’s why I say I’m famous to the famous people, it’s just the [Los Angeles] community and the talent, they respect talent. Especially good talent. Whether it’s Jeff’s [Ross] comedy or my performers that do the best impersonations and best variety acts, whether it’s magic or dancing monkeys or whatever it is, talent respects talent.”

Ross and Beacher’s chemistry from more than 20 years of friendship is palpable. It’s what makes them so dynamic, and popular, as a duo.

“He’s like a dream best friend,” Beacher said. “You learn from him every time you speak to him, he teaches you, he puts up with you. … It’s just fun. It’s not about work.”

“Beacher treated me like I was famous before I was famous,” Ross added. “That’s one of the reasons we’re friends.”

That friendship keeps soaring to new heights. And anyone lucky enough to watch is a beneficiary.
