Brittany Mahomes is adjusting to her next chapter as a mother of three.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes peeled back the curtain on her recovery after giving birth to the couple’s third child, daughter Golden Raye, last month, expressing some confusion over the internal balance of it all.
“Ever since I have been home from having Golden I have had a green recovery score (except the first night)…,” Brittany wrote alongside a screensH๏τ from Whoop, a fitness tracker.
“I’m very confused but I also am just happy to not be pregnant and tired all the time. Less sleep better recovery?? Make it make sense @whoop.”
Since welcoming daughter Golden on Jan. 12, it’s been a whirlwind few weeks for Mahomes and his wife, both 29, who are also parents to daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 2.
On Sunday, Mahomes and the Chiefs will face the Eagles in Super Bowl 2025 as Kansas City looks to become the first team ever to three-peat.
The Chiefs previously faced the Eagles in Super Bowl 2023, with Kansas City coming out on top, 38-35.
Mahomes, playing for his fourth Super Bowl win in seven seasons, addressed the recent villain narrative engulfing the Chiefs, stating Monday their focus is on the ultimate goal: winning.
“I don’t even think it’s embracing being the villains. We embrace who we are. We believe we play the game the right way. We believe we play with a lot of heart and a lot of pᴀssion for the game. And we win football games, and if winning football games makes you a villain, we’re going to keep going out there and doing it,” Mahomes said at Super Bowl Opening Night, according to Sports Illustrated.
The Chiefs have been accused of referee favoritism this postseason, with Mahomes’ teammate, тιԍнт end Travis Kelce, even pressing the media Monday on why they’re leaning into the idea so much.
Despite the outside noise, Chiefs Kingdom is clearly enjoying this ride.
Brittany, who has been married to Mahomes since 2022, celebrated the team’s AFC Championship win at Arrowhead Stadium in late January with Taylor Swift, who has been dating Kecle, 35, since 2023.
The Chiefs and Eagles kick off from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
