Patrick Mahomes can’t escape viral dad bod moment at Super Bowl 2025

Patrick Mahomes might never be able to live down the dad bod physique.

While at Super Bowl 2025 media day Monday, the Chiefs’ superstar quarterback was asked to sign an odd-looking pillow that featured a shirtless picture of himself with his dad bod in full form.

Fans have been poking fun at one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks for his average physique for several seasons, but he laughs at it during each Super Bowl appearance.

One fan Monday handed him what appeared to be a double-sided pillow with one side showing an unknown image before Mahomes turned it over and revealed a picture of himself shirtless in a crowd of people.

“C’mon, bruh,” Mahomes said while laughing. “Hey, the dad bod looks pretty good right there. I’m going to sign this side for sure. Which side do you sleep on? That’s what I want to know.”

Mahomes might not look like LeBron James, but he is still largely considered the NFL’s best current player, now going for his fourth Super Bowl at just 29 years old.

He has had fun with his body positivity, cracking jokes and even selling t-shirts featuring his belly.

Coors Light, in partnership with Mahomes, began selling “dad bod” t-shirts in April 2024 with proceeds going to the Mahomes Foundation.

The stud quarterback has not had any problems with health in his young career despite not looking to be in the best shape in the NFL.

Mahomes has played in at least 16 games in each of the last two seasons with the games he missed being simply for rest purposes.
