Joe Burrow’s ex-girlfriend, Olivia Holzmacher returned to social media after they were the subject of breakup speculation in December.
The influencer, 27, who dated the Bengals quarterback before Cincinnati selected him with the first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, shared a life update to her Instagram on Saturday, which included a cryptic quote and a snapsH๏τ of her new tattoo.
“be intentional , do the hard $hit , && show, don’t tell. I found my deeper well,” Holzmacher wrote, referring to Kacey Musgraves’ lyrics to her song, “Deeper Well” in 2024.
Her post came nearly two months after Burrow became linked to supermodel Olivia Ponton.
On Dec. 9, Ponton, 22, notified police that Burrow’s home in Ohio got broken into while she was there and he was in Texas for a Bengals away game against the Cowboys.
No one was injured, but the home was ransacked, according to a report provided by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
At the time, Burrow addressed the break-in during a press conference and said his privacy was violated.
He did not name Ponton, who has yet to address the situation publicly.
Holzmacher included an image of a sweatshirt from Musgraves’ Deeper Well World Tour, which wrapped up in Nashville, Tenn. last month.
Musgraves previously explained that “Deeper Well” is about “removing resistance to growth” whether that means in friendships, relationships or business.
“That could mean a lot of different things,” she told “Today” before her album released last March. “Everything has a season, you know, even friendships, even loves, business relationships, whatever. And some are meant to go the long haul. And then maybe some aren’t.”
Holzmacher, who is based in Nashville currently, showed off her tattoo, which was an illustration of a branch on her finger.
Other pH๏τos showed her horseback riding and running the Flying Pig half marathon in Cincinnati last May.
A few images appeared to be taken in a new apartment that featured a shelf of self-reflection books, such as “Get Out of Your Head,” “Healing Through Words,” and “8 Rules of Love.”
It had been one year since Holzmacher last posted on Instagram.
Burrow and Holzmacher, who kept their relationship fairly private, have yet to address the reason for their breakup.
They are said to have started dating in 2017, when they were students at Ohio State University.
Holzmacher supported the quarterback when he transferred to LSU in 2019, and when the Bengals selected him in the draft.
