Dave Portnoy mocks Eagles stars for looking like kids as they meet LeBron James days after reaching Super Bowl

Some stars of the Philadelphia Eagles were seen meeting NBA icon LeBron James and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy decided to mock them for it.

Just a few days after clinching a spot in Super Bowl LIX, three players on the Eagles were seen courtside at a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game.

It just so happened that the Sixers were playing the Los Angeles Lakers and prior to the game, James came over to greet Eagles safety Darius Slay and wide receivers AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, and Jahan Dotson.

After meeting them and continuing with his pre-game warmups, the camera panned back over to the trio who were all smiling and laughing after meeting one of the greatest basketball players to ever live.

Portnoy decided to dunk on them for it, retweeting the video and commenting, ‘It’s wild how LeBron makes these Eagle players look like pop warner kids.’

The Eagles stars must have enjoyed the game – with their hometown Sixers beating the Lakers 118-104 on Tuesday night. James dropped 31 points.

It’s a nice little day off before the team heads down to New Orleans to prepare for Super Bowl LIX – a rematch of the Big Game from two seasons prior.

The Eagles dominated the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship last Sunday. Brown hauled in six catches for 96 yards and a touchdown, Smith caught four pᴀsses for 45 yards, and Slay made three tackles.

Now, their attention switches to the Kansas City Chiefs – who beat them two years ago in Arizona to win the first of back-to-back championships.

The Chiefs will be hoping that they’ll reap the same reward as when they beat Philly 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII.
