Jerry Jones leaves fans stunned as Cowboys owner makes crude remark

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones left NFL fans stunned on Monday as he made a hugely bizarre remark to reporters.

Jones, alongside new head coach Brian ScH๏τtenheimer and his son, executive vice president Stephen, addressed the media as he admitted that his new hire is ‘as big a risk as you can take.’

And after stepping off of the podium, he provided one more memorable quote.

‘There’s a very low percentage of this that is smiles and glory holes,’ he said to a scrum of reporters.

Video of the crude remark, captured by FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth’s Jeff Kolb, has received over 375,000 views on X and received plenty of perplexed responses from fans.

‘At first you think it’s AI but Jerry really said ‘gloryholes,’ one said.

‘Someone needs to teach him what that actually means and not what he thinks it means,’ a second added.

‘I’m sorry, come again?,’ a third asked.

‘I threw my bingo card away,’ a fourth cracked.

Others used the remark to take their anger out on the longtime Cowboys owner, who also serves as the president and GM of the team, and hasn’t shepherded the team to a conference championship game since 1996.

‘Jerry is an idiot, this team is run by idiots,’ another fan said. 30 years of crap because of this moron. The Eagles GM is so much smarter than the whole Jones family. Another 30 years of crap coming, thanks Jerry.’

‘I’ve never hated a human more,’ added a sixth.

Jones’ remark came he expressed his own reservations about hiring ScH๏τtenheimer – who has no head coaching experience – to lead his team.

‘If you don’t think I can operate outside my comfort zone, you are so wrong it’s unbelievable,’ Jones told reporters at ScH๏τtenheimer’s unveiling Monday. ‘This (hiring ScH๏τtenheimer) is as big a risk as you can take. No head coaching experience.

‘Let me share something with you. With all of that, you’ve just heard him reference his osmosis, his family. If anybody in this room doesn’t believe that the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, has missed it somewhere down the road. Especially if there was an effort to make it that way. And there was an effort.

ScH๏τtenheimer is the son of legendary NFL coach Marty ScH๏τtenheimer, who compiled a 200-126-1 record in the pros.

Jones received extensive backlash from Cowboys fans after hiring the 51-year-old, who has 14 years of experience as an NFL offensive coordinator.

He and Jones will hope for a swift turnaround after a 7-10 season this past year.
