Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammate reveals why he was ‘blown away’ when he met Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs star George Karlaftis has heaped praise on Taylor Swift and admits he was ‘blown away’ when he first met her.

Swift’s fandom of the Chiefs and her relationship with тιԍнт end Travis Kelce has taken over the NFL for the last two years, but fans are still eager to hear any tidbit of information about the pop superstar.

Kelce is notoriously тιԍнт-lipped about the relationship, but Karlaftis has now given a rare insight into the first time he was introduced to the singer.

‘The first time I met her was after one of the games, it was with my girlfriend – and Travis, obviously,’ he told Rich Eison on his self-тιтled show this week.

‘We were just blown away. Obviously I know Travis and I’ve known him for some time… but just how much of a normal person she is.

‘Super humble, super kind, and just awesome to be around. Very much like 87, so when you meet that big a superstar it’s not what you expect, but that’s how she was and is.’

Swift has only missed one Chiefs home game this season and is expected to be in attendance again on Sunday when Kansas City host the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship.

Last season, she and Kelce kissed on the field in Baltimore after a win over the Ravens secured their spot in the Super Bowl, and Chiefs fans are desperate for more of the same this time around.

Should the Chiefs overcome Buffalo at Arrowhead, either the Eagles or the Commanders will await in next month’s Super Bowl in New Orleans.

Last year in Vegas, Swift was front and center as the Chiefs won the big game for the second straight year, and this time around they are looking to become the first NFL team in history to do the three-peat.

Swifties are also eagerly awaiting the pair’s next move when the NFL season comes to a close, with the singer’s sold-out worldwide Eras Tour having recently finished.

Earlier this week, Swift returned to New York to give Kelce some space as he prepared for the Chiefs’ biggest game of the season.
