Jayden Daniels mom reveals his relationship status as Commanders rookie takes NFL by storm

Jayden Daniels mom reveals his relationship status as Commanders rookie takes NFL by storm

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels’ mother, Regina Jackson, has revealed her son is single to solely focus on the gridiron.

Jackson’s admission comes amid Daniels’ being the biggest piece of a historic NFL rookie season, where he has lead the Commanders to their first conference championship game in 33 years.

Daniels was the No 2 overall pick to Washington in last year’s NFL Draft and has transformed the Commanders from one of the league’s worst, to one of four teams left standing for a Super Bowl in 12 months.

Jackson is not surprised by her son’s ability to be a game-changer, with her only true concern being ‘girls’ impeding his path to greatness.

‘Girls… them girls. Some girl out here, she’s got a Jayden Daniels wall and her mama says, “Hey honey, you’re going to the be the one to get him,”‘ Jackson said on Prime Video’s ‘The Money Game’.

‘And I know that sounds crazy, but I guarantee there’s someone who’s trying to get their hooks into Jayden Daniels. So thank god he got a mama like me because it ain’t happening.’

As for Daniels, he did not seem too concerned with his mother’s remarks.

‘I bet she did say something like that,’ the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner said.

Jackson has been vocally backing Daniels throughout his rookie season, being his foremost supporter for every mᴀssive step this season.

Daniels’ play has made him a slam-dunk choice for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. He will also be the sixth quarterback to start a conference championship game in his rookie season.

His chance at history comes against the Philadelphia Eagles, as none of those other five rookie quarterbacks were victorious in their conference-championship clashes.

And all of the accolades come with his mind on football, even if he is single and ready to mingle. Jackson would rather her son mingle with the Lombardi Trophy.
