Lamar Jackson consoled Mark Andrews before breaking down in locker room after Bills heartbreaker

Lamar Jackson acted like a true leader at a low point for his team.

Jackson and the Ravens lost a heartbreaker to the Bills in the AFC divisional round on Sunday after Mark Andrews dropped what would have been a game-tying catch on a two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter.

Video from the sideline in the moments after the drop has now emerged thanks to Tuesday’s episode of “Hard Knocks: In Season With the AFC North.”

Footage and audio showed Jackson consoling a distraught Andrews after it was soon clear the Ravens weren’t going to surpᴀss Buffalo.

“It’s all of us. We’re a team, bro, we’re a team,” Jackson said. “It’s all of us, bro it ain’t just you.”

In the locker room after the game, Jackson himself sounded disappointed in missing out on the AFC тιтle game, which would’ve been a rematch of the 2024 contest against the Chiefs.

Instead the Ravens were sent packing early, and the weight of it all seemed to sink in with Jackson.

“I don’t let s–t linger, but I just know how these types of games be. That’s why I kept saying: ‘Ah, man.’ I’m mad, bro. I ain’t gonna be alright,” Jackson was heard saying on audio before a clip of him holding his head in his hands was shown on the HBO program.

Jackson, with two MVPs to his name and a chance for a third this season, has not yet won the NFL’s most coveted team prize, falling short of a Super Bowl appearance again.

He finished the game 18 of 25 pᴀssing for 254 yards and two touchdowns and one interception with 39 rushing yards tacked on.

But, despite Jackson’s solid stats, it will be Josh Allen and the Bills with a chance to knock off the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs on Sunday.
