Legendary NFL wide receiver Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson’s former fiancee, Sharelle Rosado, has lifted the lid on her spilt from the football icon. 

Rosado and Johnson’s breakup happened last October, with the ‘Selling Tampa’ star revealing the spilt to the world in a now-deleted post on X. 

Despite any heartbreak on ending her four-year relationship with Johnson, she also has stood by him publicly after being accused of being in a ‘PR stunt’ relationship. 

Johnson and Rosado star in the new Netflix series ‘W.A.G.s to Riches’ with fellow cast member Lastonia Leviston, the mother of rapper Rick Ross’ first child, leveeing the public-relations claim in the first episode.   

‘If it was just PR then we wouldn’t have a child together, I mean, make it make sense,’ Rosado said to the New York Post. ‘I think some people just speculate and ᴀssume or, you know, wish their situations were different and wish they had their situation the same as ours at times.’

‘But people are going to speculate. At the end of the day, we know what we have, we know what we created. If we’re together or not, we’re going to support each other.’

Rosado has come to the defense of Johnson publicly since, denying their romance was for ‘PR’

Johnson and Rosado’s daughter, Serenity, is 2 years old. 

Rosado revealed earlier this month that she ended things with Johnson after going through his phone and finding text messages from other women. 

Yet, the two have remained intertwined despite their breakup. Rosado will host a podcast through the Shay Shay media network, the organization ran by Shannon Sharpe, who hosts ‘Nightcap’ with Johnson.

Johnson’s oldest daughter, 26-year-old Jicyra Johnson, also works Allure Realty, which Rosaso owns, in Miami.

‘I think at the end of the day, we both respect each other’s role and we’re still family no matter – if we get married or not. We have a child together… I still consider his kids mine,’ Rosado said. 

‘If they call me or need anything, I’m there and vice versa. So we have to respect each other. We’re going to always support each other [in] business and family first.’

Rosado has no plans to get back together with Johnson despite continuing to be in each other’s lives. 

‘Right now I’m focusing on myself and he’s very busy. I think we’re at a point of our time where it’s like a lot of work is coming in and we don’t honestly have time to focus on that right now,’ Rosado added to The Post. ‘So when the time comes, if it comes, then I guess I can answer that question.’

Johnson and Rosado started dating in 2020 and got engaged in 2023.
