Olivia Dunne sends one-word message to the Mahomes family after birth of third child Golden Raye

Olivia Dunne joined the mᴀsses in celebrating the birth of Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ third child, Golden Raye.

The couple – who already have a daughter, three-year-old Sterling, and a son, two-year-old Bronze – had announced last July that they were expecting another child together.

And six months on, Brittany confirmed on Monday that she brought a second girl, Golden Raye Mahomes, into the world on Sunday, January 12.

After posting a pH๏τo holding their new baby’s feed in front of a wooden nameplate, Dunne left a short and sweet comment.

‘Congratulations,’ the LSU gymnast wrote with a golden heart emoji.

WNBA star Caitlin Clark also commented, ‘Congrats,’ followed by a red heart.

Fortunately for Mahomes, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, the team had secured a bye in the first round of the playoffs, and he could be there to welcome the family’s latest addition.

But the football-obsessed Mahomes ensured he still got his NFL fix by watching the playoffs in the hospital.

He said on Tuesday ahead of their divisional round showdown with the Houston Texans: ‘It’s been cool. I mean, I’m just supporting. Brittany crushed it.

‘It’s been cool to welcome another baby girl into our family and see how our other kids react to her and having baby sissy and stuff like that.

‘It’s been a lot of fun, and it was cool that football was on TV when I was in the hospital so I got to watch a little bit. Brittany was kind enough to let us watch football while she was getting ready to give birth to our second daughter.’

Dunne returned to LSU’s grounds after announcing she would exercise her fifth year of NCAA eligibility with the Tigers in July.

Her final campaign follows their NCAA тιтle-winning efforts at the end of her senior year. The 2023-24 team brought the university’s first national тιтle in gymnastics to Baton Rouge after a dominant regular season.

On July 8, Dunne declared her return with a video announcement on her social media pages.

So far this season, the Tigers are 3-1 with wins over Iowa State, California, and Utah. Their lone loss came against Oklahoma in the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad on January 11.
