Matthew Stafford’s kids spent night in hospital before Rams’ playoff game

A playoff game against the Vikings may not be the biggest thing on Matthew Stafford’s mind.

Kelly Stafford, the Rams quarterback’s wife, and their four kids, spent time in the hospital over the weekend, according to posts by Kelly on social media.

In an Instagram Story posted on Saturday, Kelly had posted a pH๏τo of two of their children in a hospital bed, according to E! News.

“Last night was long,” she had written in the post. “Back in beds and sleeping, everyone except Hunter. Feels like she drank a Celsius.”

In another post on her Story, Kelly shared another pH๏τo of their kids with Stafford in Arizona.

“Before that tho they were all smiles getting to go with daddy on his work trip,” she wrote along with a pH๏τo of the girls with the Rams quarterback arriving in Arizona.

While the details about the girls’ hospitalization weren’t revealed, Kelly did provide an update on Sunday with a much more positive feel.

In one post to her Instagram Story, Kelly shared a pH๏τo of two of her daughters sitting in a booth at a Waffle House.

“Found our happy place in AZ. I promise we are happy, just still,” She wrote along with a sick emoji, seeming to indicate they were still feeling a bit under the weather.

Another video shared on Instagram showed one of the girls resting her head on the other’s lap.

“Taking care of her little sis,” the video was captioned.

A third update showed all four girls seeming to be resting on Sunday afternoon, with the caption hinting that they weren’t feeling like themselves.

Kelly revealed on her “Morning After” podcast recently that she and her daughters had been sick, believing she and two of her girls had been battling the flu.

Stafford and Kelly share four daughters together – 7-year-old twins Sawyer and Chandler, 6-year-old Hunter and 4-year-old Tyler – and have been married since 2015.

The Rams are hosting the Vikings on Monday night in the Wild Card Round in Arizona due to the wildfires in Los Angeles that have caused major destruction in the area.
