Well, Roger “G-Diddy” Goodell and his posse of plunderers are going to do it again.

To borrow from the wisdom and warnings of Homer Simpson, “Trying is the first step on the road to failure.”

And so tomorrow night, Steelers-Ravens will be the exclusive property of another show-him-the-money, streaming-only, pay-per playoff game.

You recall last season, the NFL’s first “History Making,” pocket-picking, Peacock playoff game: The Amputated Toes Dolphins-Chiefs game, ransomed to be played at night. Temperature was minus 4, wind “chill” minus 26.
