Tyreek Hill’s agent maintains he’s committed to Dolphins after cryptic comments

Tyreek Hill’s agent shut down any notion he wants out of Miami.

Drew Rosenhaus, who represents the star Dolphins receiver, joined “The Pat McAfee Show” on Thursday and suggested Hill won’t be forcing his way out of South Florida any time soon.

“Tyreek is very pᴀssionate. Anyone I’ve ever represented that was great was pᴀssionate. They cared,” Rosenhaus said. “What you see with Tyreek is very genuine. He wants to win. It’s not good enough for him not to make the playoffs. He’s very pᴀssionate.

“I think at the end of the day, he’s committed to this Dolphins football team,” he continued. “He had an excellent meeting with Chris Grier and Mike McDaniel. I believe that Tyreek is a great ᴀsset to the Dolphins. I think he’s the least guy that people should be worried about for this organization. They have many more worries – Tyreek Hill is not one of them.”

Hill, 30, had one of the worst seasons of his career in 2024, finishing with 81 catches for 959 yards and six touchdowns, all of which were his fewest in five seasons.

His struggles, Rosenhaus claimed, stem from an injury suffered over the summer.

“So let’s back up to training camp,” Rosenhaus said during the television hit. “Tyreek’s scrimmaging with the Washington Commanders and he breaks his wrist. We have top wrist doctors saying to Tyreek, ‘You need to get this operated on, you’re going to miss the season.’ Tyreek says to me and the Dolphins, ‘I’m not going to miss the season, I want to play. I’m going to be here for my team.’

“The doctors said it’s going to be painful, it could impact your entire career. If you don’t get it done now you may not be able to fix it all the way. Tyreek said, ‘To heck with it, I’m a team guy, I’m going for it.’ This hampered him all year long. He deserves a lot of credit.”

After the Dolphins’ Week 18 loss against the Jets, a frustrated Hill said he was “out” of the Dolphins organization, even posting a goodbye message to Miami fans later that night.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Hill pulled himself out of that game after the Dolphins were officially eliminated from the postseason.

Hill signed a four-year, $120 million extension with the Dolphins in March 2022 after being traded by the Chiefs.
