Deion Sanders stunned by тιтans’ GM firing with son Shedeur looming as potential top NFL draft pick

Deion Sanders stunned by тιтans’ GM firing with son Shedeur looming as potential top NFL draft pick

The тιтans are slated to pick No. 1 overall in April when the NFL draft takes place in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but the person making the selection won’t be general manager Ran Carthon, which seemed to shock one person.

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders expressed surprise at the news in a post on X on Tuesday morning.

“WOW!” he wrote on the platform along with the bulging eyes emoji.

Sanders’ reaction is noteworthy with many viewing his son, Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders, as a possible first-overall pick this year.

The Pro Football Hall-of-Famer turned college coach is rumored to attempt to influence where Shedeur ends up in the draft, although he has recently shut down those murmurs.

That is also believed to be the case with fellow Buffaloes star Travis Hunter.

During a March appearance on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast he seemed to hint at that.

“I know where I want them to go,” Sanders said in March about Shedeur and Hunter. “So, it’s certain cities that ain’t going to happen. It’s going to be an Eli [Manning].”

Sanders has been active on social media commenting on the NFL offseason happenings.

He reacted to a report that the Jets had interviewed Louis Riddick for their vacant general manager job and also reacted with a “100” emoji to a post by the Jets that they had completed their interview with Rex Ryan for their head coaching position.

The тιтans locked up the No. 1 overall pick in the draft after finishing a league-worst 3-14 this season.

Carthon was fired after two seasons at the helm of the organization with the team never having made the postseason under his watch.
