TV interview interrupted by shocking fan fight at Raiders-Chargers… as boot-wearing woman stamps on man

In chaotic scenes that unfolded during an interview for a local news station, cameras caught a brawl between Las Vegas Raiders fans and a Los Angeles Chargers fan at Allegiant Stadium in Nevada on Sunday.

Sunday marked the conclusion to the NFL season for Las Vegas – as the Raiders wrapped up yet another disappointing campaign for their fans who have watched them struggle in recent years.

After the game, KTNV sports reporter Nick Walters attempted to speak to some Raiders fans about the result and what they might hope for the future of the team.

But directly behind him, a fan wearing a dark blue Chargers jersey was seen taking a swing at what appeared to be a Raiders fan. It’s not clear what provoked the attack.

Cameras captured the moment when the Chargers fan continued to throw punches at a Raiders fan wearing a Charles Woodson jersey before the Las Vegas fan tackled the Chargers fan to the ground.

In the background, a female security guard was seen walking by, turning around and seeing the altercation, and then walking away.

Would it really be a Raiders-Chargers rivalry game without a brawl breaking out behind you during a fan interview? @KTNV pic.twitter.com/gTlfzW3442

It appeared that another Chargers fan – wearing a white Justin Herbert jersey – then joined in. A woman Raiders fan, who appeared to be with the Woodson-wearing fan, also took part.

The Woodson jersey fan was seen briefly wailing on the initial Chargers fan before a crowd formed and blocked the camera from seeing what happened.

A new angle of the video showed some security guards trying to calm the scene to no avail as the two initially involved in the fight were now wrestling on the ground.

The woman Raiders fan was then seen screaming at the two. Despite a woman security guard trying to hold her back, she broke free and delivered two violent stomps with her high-heeled black boots.

It’s not clear exactly where on the person’s body she was stomping on. The female security guard eventually got a hold of her again and held the woman back as she continued to scream at the two men on the ground.

Eventually, with the help of both security and bystanders, the fight ended as both sides walked away.

DailyMail.com has contacted staff at Allegiant Stadium for comment on this altercation.

The Raiders’ season came to an inglorious end on Sunday when Las Vegas fell to the Chargers 34-20.

LA quarterback Justin Herbert completed 28-of-36 pᴀsses for 346 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Chargers high-powered offense.

Meanwhile, the Raiders have been struggling with the quarterback position all year long. Aidan O’Connell and Desmond Ridder combined to complete 25-of-36 pᴀsses for 225 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception.

On Tuesday, the Raiders fired head coach Antonio Pierce. Pierce won the job with a 5-4 end to the previous season, but struggled to a 4-13 record this season.

Unlike the Raiders, the Chargers are now off to the playoffs – one of three teams from the AFC West to reach the NFL’s postseason.

Los Angeles is the five-seed and they travel to play the Houston Texans at 4:30pm this Saturday.
