Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence and wife Marissa announce birth of first child: ‘Love you so much’

The close to an all-around dismal Jaguars season came with the best of news for quarterback Trevor Lawrence and his wife Marissa.

The couple announced the birth of their first child, daughter Shae Lynn Lawrence, in an Instagram post on Monday. 

The bundle of joy arrived on Saturday at 4:01 a.m. weighing 10 pounds, 2 ounces.

“Mommy and daddy love you so much!!! Thank you Jesus for our girl!!” the caption to a series of ready.

The couple has known each other since grammar school and has been married since 2021.

Trevor, 25, is coming off a frustrating season in Jacksonville that saw the team finish 4-13, with head coach Doug Pederson getting fired on Monday.

The Clemson product’s fourth NFL season since being drafted No. 1 overall was marked by injury and underperformance.

He missed seven games because of injury, including the team’s final five after he was left concussed by a dirty hit from the Texans’  Azeez Al-Shaair – who was suspended three games by the NFL.

He also had surgery to repair an AC sprain in his left shoulder that ended his season.

He finished the year with 2045 yards, 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions as he gets set to play or for this third head coach in five seasons with the Jaguars
